Played on my Clarke original in D. Actually the best sounding whistle I have, yet its so simple.

Got a low whistle
I ordered a Kerry Optima tuneable low D whistle with some Christmas money and it came today. It looks fantastic and is huge. The grip takes some getting used to, especially the lowest note. I've found that if I hold the whistle at an angle I get a better grip.

My second tin whistle
Well I got myself a second whistle, a Generation in C (nickel)
Basically the only music shop in the town is closing. I went in for clarinet reeds but they had all gone. I spotted a small display of whistles instead, and so...
It's quite a bit bigger than my D Feadóg, has a mellower sound and is much easier to blow, and half hole.
Here's how it sounds:

Hitting the second octave on tin whistle
It was a wonderful moment when I was able to get clean notes in the second octave. So I practiced a piece of music which previously I ran out of steam at the second section. But now, I can play it. (El Condor Pasa)
I was quite pleased with myself when I first hit that second octave!

Greensleeves, 2 ways
I thought I'd have a go at the alternative version of Greensleeves on my tin whistle. But after playing clarinet I find I'm now blowing too hard!

Improv on the tin whistle
After watching a YouTube video I started to improvise on my Feadóg, trying to control my blowing and to incorporate vibrato.

Amazing Grace-Tin Whistle
Just thought I'd give this a go on my cheapo tin whistle, which is technically a toy-made by Schylling and which I got from the gift shop at Chester Zoo
