Tanglewood and JHS Spongebob uke comparison

Just a little video showing the sound differences between these two ukes. The Spongebob uke, which was bought for my son,  is a soprano sized instrument made by John Hornby Skewes,  who also own the Vintage range of guitars, and it isn't half bad for a kids' uke! And my Tanglewood is a concert size.

Santa got me a new guitar!!

This is my new addition, a Tanglewood Super Folk Deluxe, with built in pick up and tuner!
We put a deposit down on it at Ron's Music in the town back in July and have been paying it off in installments, for my Christmas present!
The top is Spruce laminate and the back and sides are Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard and bridge-I think I shall call him Bruce!

Looking for a small amp now for some blues sounds!

Also my kids got a Ukulele each!
The Spongebob one is fabulous!

The Three Amigos

I dont know if anyone is interested in my litle blog but here's a shot of all 3 guitars together.
Of course there's a 4th one coming for me soon ;)

Also we think we'll be geting our two kids a Ukelele each for Christmas..watch this space...

My son the budding guitarist ;)

We bought a 1/2 size nylon string guitar, made by Palma, so the kids would leave my tilly alone, and the other day I showed Matthew how to hold it properly. It didnt last, lol
But he is only 5...
